What do you need to rent a car?
To rent a car from Legacy Rentals in New Jersey, you will need the following:
To be at least 25 years old
A valid driver’s license with a photo
Do you offer delivery?
Please note that we do not provide pickup services; however, we are pleased to offer a convenient delivery service. For a fee of $50, we can deliver the vehicle to your location and arrange for its pickup at the same address.
What forms of payment are accepted for renting a car?
Legacy Rentals accepts the following payments (ZELLE, CASHAPP AND CASH NOW ACCEPTED)
Is a car rental deposit required?
Please be advised that all rentals require a security deposit.
The deposit is $150 and will be refunded within 7 days after the vehicle is returned, pending inspection for any damages and signs of smoking.
You will receive a full refund of your deposit if all rental terms are adhered to, including timely return of the vehicle to the designated location.
Please note that the deposit will be forfeited in the following circumstances:
If the vehicle is impounded by law enforcement for any reason.
If the vehicle is driven by anyone other than the authorized renter.
Can I drive out of New Jersey?
Please be advised that all vehicles are restricted from leaving the state of New Jersey.
If a vehicle crosses the New Jersey state border, it will be automatically disabled, and the security deposit will be forfeited.
Can I insure the rental car with my auto insurance?
To insure your rental car with your personal auto insurance, please provide your insurance card and the declaration page of your policy.
Your auto insurance must be eligible for transferable coverage and include full comprehensive and collision coverage.
All insurance information will be verified during the booking process.
If you do not have auto insurance, you may purchase our insurance coverage from us.
